Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in equity options trading platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on financial systems
- Implement and maintain encryption protocols for transactional data
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Develop incident response playbooks for cyber threats targeting equity markets
- Collaborate with trading teams to integrate security into workflows
- Document security policies and audit trails for regulatory reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with financial services/equity experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence
- Knowledge of equity options trading platforms and market data protocols
- Strong understanding of NIST CSF and financial regulatory frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week with flexible scheduling
