As a key member of our Security Operations Center, you'll design, implement, and monitor advanced security protocols for our equity options trading platforms. Collaborate with traders, developers, and compliance teams to ensure zero-downtime protection while maintaining regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC). Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor security controls for equity options trading systems and financial data pipelines
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on trading platforms and related infrastructure
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents with SLAs under 2 hours
- Develop security automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Document security policies and procedures for audit purposes
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services or fintech
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH (required), plus SANS GIAC preferred
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with Linux/Windows hardening and network security (iptables, Palo Alto)
- Knowledge of equity options trading systems and market data protocols
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work under pressure with 24/7 on-call rotation
