As a Cybersecurity Specialist focused on equity options, you'll implement cutting-edge defense strategies against sophisticated cyber threats targeting trading infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in equity options trading environments during weekend shifts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on derivatives trading platforms
- Develop security protocols for options pricing engines and risk management systems
- Collaborate with trading teams to implement zero-trust architecture for trading systems
- Analyze anomalous trading patterns indicative of cyber manipulation or insider threats
- Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems for financial data
- Document security incidents and compliance for FINRA/NASD regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial services or trading systems
- Expertise in equity options trading mechanics and market structures
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial specialization
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with weekend/shift-based security operations
- Knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and CFTC cybersecurity requirements
- Ability to work independently during off-hours with minimal supervision
