Responsibilities
- Design and implement security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial systems
- Monitor SIEM alerts and respond to security incidents within 15-minute SLA
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure SOX 404 and SEC regulatory adherence
- Develop incident response playbooks specific to options market manipulation attacks
- Train traders on social engineering prevention for financial data
- Research emerging threats in financial markets and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial systems
- Certifications in CISSP, CISM, or CEH required
- Expertise in options trading platforms and market microstructure
- Advanced knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and CFTC regulations
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols for financial transactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
