Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across enterprise networks
- Implement and monitor intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform penetration testing and compliance audits for regulatory standards
- Manage SIEM dashboard analysis and correlate security events
- Mentor junior team members on security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM/SOAR experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and firewalls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
