Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and ransomware attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of critical systems
- Develop security automation using Python/SIEM integrations
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure CI/CD pipeline implementation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and IaC tools
- Proven incident response documentation and reporting
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (sponsoring available)
