Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes for cloud-native applications
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with comprehensive testing
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR)
- Participate in on-call rotations for production system support
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database design (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Proven ability to deliver projects in Agile environments with JIRA/Confluence
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and observability practices
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications
