Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for cyberattacks and data breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/Implement security policies and NIST 800-53 compliance
- Collaborate with SOC teams on threat intelligence and mitigation
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/IR experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and threat-hunting abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
