Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Implement and monitor advanced threat detection systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Develop incident response plans and lead security breach mitigation
- Perform forensic analysis of security incidents and create detailed reports
- Design and deploy zero-trust architecture solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on threat detection experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevSecOps
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in fast-paced environments
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
