Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents
- Develop and implement incident response plans for breach scenarios
- Perform forensic analysis on security events and generate detailed reports
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks daily
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
