Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during night shift hours
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident remediation
- Perform security audits and penetration testing
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or on-call rotation
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Eligibility for US government clearance (preferred)
