Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across global networks during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- Investigate potential security incidents using SIEM tools and forensic methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement incident response protocols
- Document security events and generate detailed incident reports for stakeholders
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and endpoint protection solutions
- Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to pass background check
