Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal latency
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Document incident reports and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Conduct threat intelligence research and proactive hunting activities
- Participate in emergency response drills and security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and threat actors
