Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, network traffic, and system logs to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct incident investigations, forensic analysis, and remediation of security breaches
- Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Develop and execute playbooks for incident response and disaster recovery scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and compliance
- Document security incidents, analysis findings, and remediation actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and threat intelligence
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
