Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Investigate and remediate cybersecurity incidents with zero tolerance for critical breaches
- Execute vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client infrastructure
- Document security incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodology
- Collaborate with global threat intelligence teams during major cyber events
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 standards
- Conduct forensic analysis of malware and attack vectors
- Provide after-hours emergency response support for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC analyst background
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Expert knowledge of network protocols and Windows/Linux systems
- Validated experience in threat hunting and incident response
- Ability to maintain peak alertness during overnight shifts
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent foundational certification
