Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security protocols for cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain SIEM dashboards for real-time threat monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Create comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or engineering
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security tools and network architecture
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
- Clearance for handling sensitive government or financial data preferred
