Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to incidents
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches and coordinate remediation
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with hands-on engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
