Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Create incident response playbooks and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations or threat analysis roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
