Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches with forensic analysis and remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell to enhance threat detection
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and security documentation
- Mentor junior security engineers and stay current with emerging threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP (required) plus AWS/Azure Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), EDR platforms, and threat hunting
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with zero-trust frameworks and identity management systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
