Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting, forensics, and breach mitigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Expertise in network security tools (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven incident response handling with formal IR training
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
