Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security solutions across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response protocols, including threat detection, containment, and remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor SIEM tools and analyze security alerts for proactive threat mitigation
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends to adapt security strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Certifications required: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and make rapid decisions
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
