Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures to protect cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network systems
- Monitor security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and respond to 24/7 security incidents
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Create security documentation and compliance reports for regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior team members on emerging threats and defense strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Proficiency with security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or similar
- Strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance frameworks
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks
