Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for cloud-native applications
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop zero-trust network access (ZTNA) frameworks
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Mentor junior engineers through security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Demonstrated success in managing security operations centers (SOC)
- Strong background in regulatory compliance frameworks
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
