Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Monitor SIEM dashboards and respond to security incidents in real-time
- Implement network security controls including firewalls and IDS/IPS
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems and generate incident reports
- Develop and test security awareness training programs for financial clients
- Collaborate with red team members on penetration testing engagements
- Document security findings and recommend remediation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with daily payment history
- Valid CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Experience with financial services cybersecurity compliance (FFIEC, PCI-DSS)
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active NYS security clearance or ability to obtain within 72 hours
