Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and encryption protocols
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Document security policies and procedures
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certification required: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and risk assessment methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 30 days
