Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM logs to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for internal and external systems.
- Implement and manage firewall rules and security policies.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with detailed reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities in software and hardware.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in network security, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Strong knowledge of security tools including Splunk, FireEye, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
