Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to fortify our infrastructure.
- Respond to security incidents and manage incident response plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement robust security architectures.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to present complex security findings to non-technical stakeholders.
