Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and alerts in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate security breaches and develop incident response plans to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network infrastructure and cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network security, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network architecture.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high attention to detail during investigations.
