Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate potential security incidents using forensic tools and methodologies
- Execute vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client systems
- Document security findings and prepare comprehensive incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during critical security events
- Implement security controls and recommend system hardening measures
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 10PM-6AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
