Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate security incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access attempts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for client systems
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and provide detailed reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS controls, and compliance standards
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
