Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents within SLA requirements
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence initiatives
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for incident response
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
