We are seeking a vigilant Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center. In this critical role, you will be the guardian of our client's data, working specifically during our high-traffic weekend shifts to ensure zero breaches.

Responsibilities
- Continuous Monitoring: Watch over SOC feeds and security alerts 24/7, specifically during weekend shifts, to detect potential intrusions.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and containment of security breaches, malware infections, and ransomware attacks.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced threats within the network using custom scripts and anomaly detection.
- Log Analysis: Correlate data from firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoints to identify trends and vulnerabilities.
- Report Generation: Produce detailed post-incident reports and weekly security summaries for management.
- Patch Management: Coordinate with engineering teams to prioritize and apply security patches for operating systems and applications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a SOC environment or Network Security.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar) and scripting languages (Python or Bash).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and rotating night shifts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
