Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with NIST framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Implement zero-trust architecture security controls
- Perform forensic analysis of security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in security operations center (SOC)
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
