Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and generate detailed reports
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop and optimize security policies, procedures, and controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Manage security incidents using NIST and ISO frameworks
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat hunting
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
