As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our defense strategy, identifying vulnerabilities before they are exploited and responding to incidents with speed and precision. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within our SIEM environment to prevent breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and industry standards.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems to maintain a robust security posture.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with legal and executive teams during security breaches or investigations.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and security policies.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or similar).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
