Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security alerts and investigate potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Respond to security incidents with rapid containment and remediation
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance endpoint security posture
- Generate executive-level security reports and trend analysis
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and high-pressure situations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Relevant bachelor's degree in IT or cybersecurity
