The Role:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our clients' data and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events within SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct daily security scans and vulnerability assessments to maintain a robust security posture.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, including malware analysis and incident response coordination.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and playbooks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of networks and applications.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK Stack) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
