Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across network endpoints
- Document and escalate security incidents according to NIST frameworks
- Implement security controls and remediation strategies for identified risks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with HIPAA/GDPR standards
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
