Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents with NIST framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop playbooks for threat detection and response automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, or GIAC preferred
- Experience with threat intelligence tools (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Proficiency in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedule
