Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activities
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents using forensic analysis techniques
- Develop and implement threat detection protocols and response procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
