Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native applications with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and security across distributed environments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with industry best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Node.js)
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
