Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Python on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on CI/CD best practices
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Develop RESTful APIs with GraphQL integration for healthcare data exchange
- Implement robust security protocols for HIPAA-compliant systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest) with TDD methodology
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
