We're seeking a passionate Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using forensic tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with incident response teams during breach mitigation
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for threat scenarios
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate executive-level security reports and dashboards
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in security awareness training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to analyze complex security data and prioritize incidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
