Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network systems
- Develop incident response plans and execute breach containment procedures
- Implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Generate security dashboards and executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related IT security role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Proficiency with threat detection tools (EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
- Hands-on experience with incident response and malware analysis
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
