Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect network perimeters.
- Perform security audits and compliance reporting (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and encryption standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
