Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Ensure compliance with NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR frameworks
- Document security procedures and create threat intelligence briefings
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, IR, or Threat Analysis)
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/verbal communication for incident reporting
- Philadelphia residency preferred (local timezone required)
