Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructures
- Develop and implement incident response plans for cyberattacks
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify anomalous activity and emerging threats
- Document security procedures and maintain comprehensive audit trails
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on SIEM tool experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
