Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection, analysis, and incident response for enterprise environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Monitor SIEM platforms and generate executive security reports
- Maintain compliance with NYDFS and Florida cybersecurity regulations
- mentor junior security analysts through our knowledge-sharing program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) architectures
- Ability to relocate to NYC or Florida with minimal notice
- Valid US work authorization required
