Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Lead forensic investigations during security breaches and document incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and HIPAA regulations
- Create security awareness training for employees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence methodologies
- Experience with incident response tools (e.g., FireEye, CrowdStrike)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
