Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools and investigate alerts for potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect data integrity and confidentiality
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed forensic reports
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and endpoint protection solutions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
